1 Job Announcement Promise Economic Wellbeing Coordinator Opens: Monday, April 25, 2022 Closes: Open until filled Will begin reviewing applications on 5/4/2022 Status: Full-Time, Non-Exempt Hiring Range: $22.00—$25.00 per hour Competitive Benefits Package—see page 5-6 Under the direction of the Promise Program Manager, the Promise Economic Wellbeing Coordinator assists in the administration of programs that support and enhance the self-sufficiency and financial wellbeing of Millcreek residents. Incumbent is also responsible for leading the Economic Wellbeing Committee and administering the committee’s initiatives. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS 1. Meet performance standards established with the employee’s manager. 2. Work with the Promise Program Manager to provide high quality programs and initiatives for the residents of Millcreek. 3. Chair the Economic Wellbeing Committee within the Collective Impact and Results-Based Accountability frameworks. 4. Manage action items put forth by the Economic Wellbeing Committee. 5. Manage volunteers during events and other programs; help to organize a volunteer appreciation plan. 6. Provide digital literacy and financial literacy enrichment activities in existing afterschool programs. 7. Plan and implement Millcreek Promise’s Tech On Program. 8. Support Millcreek Promise partnerships and communication with partners in a professional manner. 9. Manage adult entrepreneurship courses. 10. Support the Promise Program Manager and Intern team as needed. 11. Ensure accurate and consistent data-keeping. 12. Maintain organizational files and documents. 13. All other duties as assigned by the Promise Program Manager. ---PAGE BREAK--- 2 MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS 1. Education and Experience: a. Bachelor’s Degree from a regionally accredited institution in economics, political science, communications, social services, or related field. b. Service-oriented experience is a plus. 2. Special Qualifications: a. Valid Utah Class D Driver’s License required. b. Passion for wanting to improve the lives of others. c. Community minded. 3. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: a. Ability to communicate professionally and effectively, both verbally and in writing. b. Knowledge of general office maintenance and practices and operation of standard office equipment. c. Ability to maintain timely program schedules. d. Knowledge of principles and processes for providing high level customer service. e. Ability to use tact and diplomacy under stressful situations associated with public interaction. f. Ability to make decisions and use good judgement. g. Ability to work independently as well as take initiative and work collaboratively as part of a team. h. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with community partners, employees, program participants, and the public. i. Ability to follow written and oral instructions. j. Ability to multitask and prioritize work assignments. k. Ability to operate a personal computer and competency using Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.). l. Ability to establish and maintain comprehensive records and files. WORKING CONDITIONS 1. Environment: Work is performed primarily in a standard office environment with some travel to different sites and may be required to travel outside City boundaries to attend meetings. Light physical effort and usually comfortable working positions. 2. Physical: Primary functions require sufficient physical ability and mobility to work in an office setting; to stand or sit for prolonged periods of time; to occasionally stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, reach, and twist; to lift, carry, push, and/or pull light to moderate amounts of weight; to operate office equipment requiring repetitive hand movement and fine coordination including use of a computer keyboard; and to verbally communicate to exchange information. 3. Vision: See in the normal visual range with or without correction 4. Hearing: Hear in the normal audio range with or without correction. 5.
