Grandeur Peak is a popular hike for many throughout Salt Lake County, and the trailhead at the north end of Wasatch Blvd is heavily used. Unfortunately, the increase in parking has created many issues for the neighborhood. In July 2015, Salt Lake County implemented a year-long pilot program to restrict street parking Subscribe Past Issues Translate ---PAGE BREAK--- 11/1/2018 Grandeur Peak Trailhead / 3-6-17 Council Agenda 2/7 Planning Commission 03/06/17, 5 p.m. Special work meeting to consider MD Zone draft Salt Lake County Government Center, 2001 S. More details here BUSINESS LICENSES Here is a list of Millcreek businesses renewing or in the area to residents. Over the course of the next year, the County conducted a study, the results of which can be found here. After two public hearings during the summer of 2016, the County striped new parking spaces along Wasatch Blvd near the trailhead. It also extended the pilot program until such time as the leaders of the newly formed city of Millcreek could address whether the program should or should not continue. Millcreek's City Council will hear these issues at a special meeting and public hearing on Tuesday, March 21st at Churchill Jr. High, at 7 p.m. This will be your opportunity to provide the council with reasons to retain the resident parking permanently or terminate the restrictions.
