MILLCREEK. What is Millcreek Promise? Millcreek Promise is an initiative of Mayor Silvestrini to connect residents to resources and meet their needs in education, health, safety, and economic well-being. The Promise initiative aims to collectively impact residents by bringing together organizations, businesses, and residents in committees that discuss goals in those four focus areas. What does Millcreek Promise do? To meet those goals, the committees also create an action plan that results in community resource fairs and events, connecting people to technology, and supporting afterschool programs in the city. All of this good work takes time, effort and funds. How can you help Millcreek Promise? Join us tomorrow, May 13th, from noon to 3 PM at the Millcreek Promise Field Day, a fun family-friendly event to raise funds for the Promise Program.
