Networking Committee Meeting Uniting the Residents and Businesses of Millcreek February 7 @ 10:00 AM Attendees: Christelle Gatoro Josie Showalter Casey Mason Katrina Olson Melissa Hunsaker Jason Shurtleff Dorie Olds 1. Welcome 2. Business of the Month a. Awards for January- March b. The Networking Committee selected new businesses of the month for January, February, and March. They will be announced in April. 3. Introduction a. Christelle will be taking Josies position in Economic Development. Josie is moving on to Grants 4. Brainstorming Goals & Projects for 2022 a. Dorie brought up the idea of doing other networking events besides the Meet n’ Eats if others are interested. Was interested to be a part of the 5k that Health and Wellness are doing. Asked members if they want other projects i. Melissa suggested a quarterly dinner at night for individuals who cannot make Meet n’ Eats ii. Christelle will speak with Mike Winder to see what he thinks about this idea. Possibly a Tuesday evening from 3-6 pm. 5. Meet n’ Eat a. Tuesday, February 8 at 11:30 at Rubi’s Peruvian Taste 6. Recruiting a. Membership and recruitment for committee members i. Want to try and keep reaching out to other people. Christelle will include more information how on businesses can join on our newsletter. 7. Other Business 8.
