VOLUNTEER RECYCLING MANAGER FOR FOOD PANTY Goals of Position: Determine methods for recycling of excess produce and food waste. Minimize disposal in trash and landfills by using food waste productively, i.e. compost, animal feed, etc. Typical Activities: Oversee daily procedures for recycling of food waste. Put processes in place so volunteers can assist with disposal of waste in a timely and routine manner. Establish relationships with various community organizations to ensure waste is recycled in a productive and useful manner.
