Date: May 5, 2015 To: All Parties using the Municipal Court From: Judge Gillings and Judge Towers RE: Notice of Recording System failure Marysville Municipal Court maintains audio records for all court hearings. The audio recording system is a computer based system that can publish digital files accessible by the parties. On April 18, 2015, the City Information Services Department completed service work on the courtroom computers. This was scheduled routine maintenance. As a result, the ability to record hearings was inadvertently lost. Hearings from April 20, 2015 to May 4, 2015 were not recorded in both courtrooms. This loss of audio recording was brought to the attention of the Judges on the afternoon of May 4, 2015. The Information Services Department responded and the issue was resolved.
