More about Mayor Nehring Nehring earned his associate’s degree in business from Everett Community College, then completed his bachelor’s in business administration through Central Washington University. Nehring has 17 years of experience in private sector business including 15 of those years in business management, mostly in the paper products industry. His leadership, business, sales and marketing background are assets to expanding on the solutions-seeking atmosphere of collaboration and cooperation that are the trademark of Marysville government in its solid relations with the Tulalip Tribes, Snohomish County, neighboring cities and towns as well as various organizations and groups. Nehring volunteers time with local youth sports programs, including several years as a Marysville Little League and youth basketball coach.
