CITY OF MARYSVILLE SPRING CRAFT SHOW Saturday - April 8, 2017 • 10AM to 4PM Totem Middle School • 1605 7th Street, Marysville, WA 98270 • (360) 363-8450 Calling all Crafters! Complete the application below and submit a sample of your craft (photo sample is acceptable via email to [EMAIL REDACTED]) by March 24, 2017. We will notify vendors by March 25 or earlier. Organizer may invite vendors to be in the show at any time between January 3 and April 3, 2017. Spots may fill up prior to submission deadline, please submit application early for your best chance of reserving your spot. Staff will review all applications and then invite vendors to the show. Vendor space is approximately 8ft by 8ft. Vendor supplies their own table. Cost is $50. Location of the 2017 show has been moved to Totem Middle School. All indoors! You will not be required to pay until you have been selected, cash, check, Visa or Mastercard. Questions? Call Maryke Burgess at (360) 363-8450. In addition, for and in consideration of the opportunity offered to participate in programs and services offered by the Ken Baxter Community Center I, as evidenced by my signature below, do hereby hold harmless, release and waive all claims I may have against the City of Marysville, it’s officials, employees, agents, or contracted instructors, and any other person involved for any and all injuries, losses or damages suffered by me as a result of my participation. I accept full responsibility for the cost of treatment for any injury, losses or damages suffered. I grant the City of Marysville, its representatives and employees the right to take photographs of me and my property in connection with the above-registered program. I authorize the City of Marysville, its assigns and transferees to copyright, use and publish the same in print and/or electronically. I agree that City of Marysville may use such photographs of me with or without my name and for any lawful purpose, including for example such purposes as publicity, illustration, advertising and Web content. Basic information: You do not pay the registration fee unless you are in the show. Accepted vendor payments due by March 25th. In person registration is at the Ken Baxter Community Center - hours are Monday-Thursday, 9AM to 4PM and Fridays, 9AM to noon. Guidelines: • Only completed applications with clear links to websites or with good representative photos will be considered. • Spaces will be 8ft by 8 ft depending on number of vendors. Some years space will be larger, but never smaller than 8ft by 8ft. • All vendors must stay for the entire duration of the event, 10AM to 4PM. Set-up will be between 8:00AM and 9:45AM. Break down will begin at 4PM and we request you be finished by 5PM, so crew can clean. • Please have a change funds available before you arrive. The City will be unable to make change for you. It will be the vendor’s responsibility to pay any necessary taxes on their sales. • The City is not responsible for any lack in sales from one vendor to another based on table placement or for poor attendance. Efforts will be made not to have too similar of items between crafters. • Past attendance has been between 1500-2000 visitors. Press releases and other forms of advertising will be done by the City. Vendors are also encouraged to advertise on their own. • Please keep craft items limited to table space. Encroaching on the space of another vendor is not allowed. Please do not attach items to the walls or fixtures without staff permission. Stands need to be behind your table unless approved. Be flexible with your set up please. • Limited electrical outlets.
