Lynn Schroeder at (360) 363-8091 or e-mail While topics are generally as open and varied as citizens want to talk about, Nehring would like to spend some time during the get-together to get ideas and comments for a neighborhood enhancement program in the works that he is championing. The new award program would recognize a homeowner and block or neighborhood for visual attractiveness and landscaping improvements, as well as a business award for street-side appeal. “We want to recognize people who take pride in cleanliness, appeal and livability where they live or work,” Nehring says. “Their efforts reflect well on the community, and could inspire others to do the same.” Coffee and light refreshments will be provided.
