Robb Lamoureux, [PHONE REDACTED] (office) [PHONE REDACTED] (mobile) [EMAIL REDACTED] Feb. 11, 2013 Marysville Police Make Arrest In Murder Case MARYSVILLE - A 28-year-old Marysville woman has been arrested and booked into the Snohomish County Jail on suspicious of Murder, Robbery, and Theft of a Motor Vehicle. On Jan. 25, Arthur Schroeder, 82, was found deceased in his residence, the victim of multiple stab wounds. His residence had been ransacked, and his pickup truck had been stolen. The truck was located later that night. It had been set on fire. The woman originally came to the attention of investigators based on information provided by a confidential informant. Through investigation, detectives further learned the woman had admitted to others that she had killed Schroeder. That information, combined with evidence from the crime scene, allowed detectives to make the arrest. “This investigation is not yet complete,” Marysville Police Cmdr. Robb Lamoureux says. “We anticipate additional arrests will be made in the coming days for others who were either directly involved in the murder or participated after the fact.” Further inquiries regarding this press release should be directed to Commander Robb Lamoureux.
