Revised 12/2022 NOTIFICATION OF MILITARY DEPLOYMENT OUTSIDE OF THE UNITED STATES Virginia Code § 58.1-3916 provides members of the armed services of the United States deployed outside of the United States an automatic extension on personal property taxes for 90 days following the completion of such member’s deployment. For purposes of this extension, “the armed services of the United States” includes active duty service with the regular Armed Forces of the United States or the National Guard or other reserve component. This extension is for personal property registered in the service member’s name. To notify the Personal Property Division of the Commissioner of the Revenue’s office of your deployment outside of the United States, please print and complete the form below and mail it, fax it, or e-mail it along with a copy of your military orders to: Robert S.
