Join a movement that brought in more than $5.6 million in federal tax credits and refunds to Maine families last year alone! Volunteer with one of the CA$H (Creating Assets, Savings, and Hope) Maine coalitions and provide free tax preparation assistance and/or financial asset coaching to Mainers. Volunteer with CA$H Maine Today! Build your resume and learn new skills Meet new people and assist your neighbors Give back to your community by helping a working family No tax experience required. Free training is provided (up to 20 hours is ideal). Tax season starts in late January Afternoon, evening, and weekend hours are available. A 4-hour commitment per week for at least 5 weeks during tax season is ideal.
