March 21, 2012 Jepson Brook CSO Phase II Bid No. 2012-004 Bid Date: 3/27/2012 ADDENDUM NO 1 To All Planholders of Record: Acknowledge receipt of this Addendum by inserting its number and date on page P-5 of the Proposal. This addendum forms a part of the Contract Documents and modifies them as follows: CLARIFICATION: Question: If rock is encountered that is not “overdepth” how will it be paid for? Response: Pay Item 6 on page P-2 shall be revised to read “Structural Rock Ex., Drainage and Minor Structures”. Method of measurement for structural rock excavation shall be per section 40.16 Method of Measurement (Pay Limits). Question: Is crushed stone paid as described in 40.16 or is it incidental as described in section 10.12? Response: Crushed stone to be installed around pipe and structures within the limits specified with the plans and specifications shall be incidental. Crushed stone to be used in the areas of Structural Earth Excavation “Overdepth” shall be paid for based on the pay limits outlined in section 40.16 Method of Measurement (Pay Limits) and must approved by the engineer.
