Bidders must submit sample of material to be used for pant stripe and embroidery samples for names. GENERAL INFORMATION • The successful bidder shall have the capability to have in stock and readily available for immediate issue and replacement all of the uniform items awarded to said vendor. • So that uniforms provide an appropriate fit, the successful bidder may provide on site measuring for each member of the police department who is to receive a new uniform issue if deemed necessary by the Police Department and vendor. • Bidders need not bid on all items specified in this bid request. • Delivery is to be made within two months of purchase order. • Note any shipping charges in bid. • If additional charges for extra large sizes, please not in bid. • The City of Lewiston Finance Committee reserves the right to accept or reject any and all bids. ---PAGE BREAK--- POLICE DEPARTMENT UNIFORMS PROPOSAL FORM BID 2014-048 BID DATE: August 7, 2014 The items listed below are uniform components for the Lewiston Police Department. All bids must be for items equal or superior to those specified. If the item bid is not the specified item, the brand name and stock number of the item bid must be indicated. Samples may be requested before award is made. All bid prices are to be F.O.B., Lewiston, Maine, and shall be firm for a one year period unless otherwise stated by the vendor. Prices shall include all sewn on items whenever purchased. Uniform items that require pant stripes, uniform emblems, flags or uniform service stripes, should be bid as a complete item (ie: the cost of the item reflects the item completed with emblems, etc. sewn on). We provide only the emblems and service stripes. A sample of the pant stripe is attached.
