The American Electric “Autobahn” LED Roadway fixture catalog ATBO 30 BLEDE53 MVOLT R3 PCSS P5 RFD165812 or approved equal. Literature and specifications sheets from the manufacturer must accompany the bid submittal. The bid request allows for approved equal to be bid. The City reserves the right to accept or reject items offered or equal to the approved items. OPTICAL: • Same Light: Performance should be comparable to 100W HPS roadway luminaires. • White Light: Correlated color temperature must be standard 4000K, 70 CRI minimum. • Unique IP66 rated LED light engines that provided 0% uplight and restrict backlight to within sidewalk depth, with Type III roadway distribution. • The LED array must have a minimum of 30 LED’s, the array shall have a minimum output of 102 Lumens per watt and a total minimum output of 5,305 Lumens at a maximum of 525 ma. ELECTRICAL: • Expected Life: LED light engines must be rated at >100,000 hours at 25°C, L70. • Electronic driver must have a minimum expected life of 100,000 hours at 25°C ambient. • Surge Protection must meet IEEE/ANSI C62.41 Category C (10kV/5kA) level of protection. • Luminaire shall be nominal 52 watts connected load. • Driver may not be larger than 525mA and shall produce a minimum of 5305 lumens and minimum of 102 lumens per watt. • The LED array must contain a minimum of 30 LED diodes. • The driver shall not exceed 525 mA, Multi-Volt (120-277), the Luminaire shall include a solid state, long life photo control, 5-pin receptacle wired to dimming driver “required” to allow wireless dimming and control. MECHANICAL: • The Luminaire shall include standard lineman-friendly features such as tool-less entry, tool-less NEMA photo control receptacle, terminal block and quick disconnects. Bubble level located inside the electrical compartment for easy leveling at installation. • Rugged die-cast aluminum housing is polyester powder-coated for durability and corrosion resistance. • Rigorous five-stage pre-treating and painting process yields a finish that achieves a scribe creepage rating of 8 (per ASTM D1654) after over 1000 hours exposure to salt fog chamber (operated per ASTM B117). Optional Enhanced Corrosion Resistant finish (CR) increases the salt spray exposure to 5000 hours. • Mast arm mount adjustable for arms from 1¼” to 2” (1 5/8” to 2 3/8” O.D.) diameter. • Provides a 3G vibration rating per ANSI C136 ---PAGE BREAK--- • Wildlife shield is cast into the housing (not a separate piece). • Die-cast trigger latch on doorframe allows for tool-less entry. CONTROLS: • Long life solid state locking-style photo control • Multi-level dimming shall allow the fixture to be dimmed via wireless control system. • Shall have a 5 pin locking photo control receptacle in full compliance with ANSI C136.41-2013 WARRANTY & STANDARDS: • 5 year limited warranty • Rated for -40°C to 40°C ambient REQUIRED SUBMITTAL FOR LUMINAIRE: to be submitted with proposal A. General submittal content shall include: 1. Complete submittal to include information to determine compliance with this complete specification. 2. Luminaire cutsheets. 3. Cutsheets for LED light sources and supporting LM-80 report. 4. Cutsheets for LED driver(s) a. If dimmable LED driver is specified, provide diagrams illustrating light output and input power as a function control signal. 5. Cutsheets for surge protection device, if applicable. 6. Instructions for installation and maintenance. 7. Summary of luminaire recycled content and recyclability per the FTC Green Guides, expressed by percentage of luminaire weight. 8. Shall provide independent test laboratories electronic file IES photo metric which can be used in lighting software to verify light levels. 9. A Hard Copy of the IES Photometrics. B. LM-79 luminaire photometric report(s) shall be produced by the test laboratory and include: 1. Name of test laboratory a. The test laboratory must hold National Voluntary Laboratory Accreditation Program (NVLAP) accreditation for the IES LM-79 test procedure or must be qualified, verified and recognized through the U.S. Department of Energy’s CALIPER program.
