CITY OF LEWISTON, MAINE PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT CUSTODIAL SERVICES @ CITY OWNED BUILDINGS BID 2013-008 BID DATE: Tuesday, March 26 , 2013 Addendum #2 Addenda #2 is hereby issued to answer a number of questions raised in regard to the above mentioned bid. Question Does Davis-Bacon Wage rates apply? Answer: No, Davis-Bacon does not apply to the contract. Question Does minimum wage apply? Answer: Yes, Maine minimum wage for contractor’s employees does apply. Question Would the City provide for economic price adjustment in option year? Answer: The contract term will be for two years. The third year option asks for pricing for basic services. Adjustments would be considered in other areas. Question Is the estimated usage of products annual or Answer: They are annual estimates based on a three year history. Question Is floor stripping, floor scrubbing, carpet extraction to be included in bases?
