This project involves the retrofit of existing Holophane Granville metal halide utility style fixtures with an LED kit. The replacement LED kit shall provide identical optical distribution/energy consumption/LED diode and driver life/overall performance and warranty as if a current and new 40 watt LED Granville product was purchased from Holophane. The retrofit kit shall be part number or approved equal will be acceptable provided it meets specifications. Literature and specifications sheets from the manufacturer must accompany the bid submittal. The bid request allows for approved equal to be bid provided it meets specifications. The City reserves the right to accept or reject items offered or equal to the approved items. Product must be on the current published DLC (Design Lights Consortium) list and be qualified for the current Efficiency Maine incentive. The published DLC information regarding any proposed kit shall be used as part of the basis for evaluation of any “equal” product. Published DLC information of specified kit: • 4,451.7 lumens, 39.29 watts at 120 volts; • Harmonic distortion no more than 13.19%; • Power Factor of at least .878; and • Color Corrected Temperature of 3,884.83 kelvin. The kit installed in Granville fixture shall have a manufacturer published lumen depreciation factor of no less than .89 at 25 degree C ambient at 50,000 hours. The information shall be based on LM-80 test data. Kit shall have published LM-79 photometric report performed through a laboratory that holds NVLAP accreditation with kit installed into the same Granville optical assembly model as now installed on Lisbon and Canal Streets in Lewiston. The kit shall provide performance equal to new Granville LED product. A minimum 68% of the overall fixture lumen output for the retrofit kit installed in City of Lewiston type Granville fixture shall be within the 60 to 90 degree zone. The zone at 70 to 100 degrees shall contain 58% of the overall fixture lumen output. Product must be UL/CSA listed. Product shall include a NEMA 3 pin photocell receptacle designed to be internal to the fixture electrical housing and integral and included with the retrofit kit. The kit shall include robust surge protection meeting at a minimum requirement IEEE/ANSI C62.41 Category C (10kV/5kA) level of protection. ---PAGE BREAK--- The kit shall include an extreme long life solid state locking-style photocell – DLL (20+ year rated life). Shall include: LED inrush protection with triac assisted relay, extreme surge protection of 1280J/40kA utility or 2120J/40kA, UL listed, solid brass contact blades, conformal coated printed circuit board, high temp plastic based tested to 140 degrees C, enclosure and lens with additional UV inhibitor, dual zener diodes for long life and long life capacitors. The photocell shall comply with ANSI C136.10, rated loading of 1000 watts, and average consumption of .5 watts at 120 volts. The photocell shall have a published 10 year warranty, with 6 years non pro-rated.
