Questions: Bid item #40: Is the quantity of relocated sewer service a token quantity or an actual quantity? Response: The bid quantity is based on the areas where it is likely that the existing sewer laterals will be in conflict with the proposed storm drain. This is an estimate only, the actual quantities will be determined in the field. Question: If the existing granite curb to be replaced is in poor condition will the city supply new curb to be installed? Response: This item is for the re-set of granite curb on Farwell Street, a distance of approximately 100’, the curb in this area appears to be in good condition. Question: Does the proposal and the contract need to be submitted to the City? Response: Only the proposal form needs to be submitted to the Purchasing Director when bidding the project.
