Name That Park! ATTENTION Lewiston Elementary School Students! The Lewiston Youth Advisory Council has been working with the Downtown Neighborhood Action Committee to find ways to make Lewiston’s Pierce Street Park a more enjoyable place to play and enjoy. We also think it should have a more attention-getting name! That’s where YOU come in! If you have a name suggestion and a reason for that suggestion, please let your parent/guardian or teacher know. Your name/reason can be e-mailed to [EMAIL REDACTED] (with the info requested on below entry form) OR You can mail the below entry form (just bottom section) to the Lewiston Youth Advisory Council, Lewiston City Hall, 27 Pine Street, Lewiston ME 04240 ENTRY DEADLINE: May 14, 2012 ***Winning Entry Prize Not Decided Yet*** Special Note A new design and funding for park changes are currently being discussed. Please know that financial investors may wish to share their thoughts about the renaming of the park, and your suggestions will no doubt be of tremendous interest to them. Whether the park is named in the near future or when completed, the student who submitted the “winning entry” will be contacted. The winning entry will either become the new name of the park or will be announced as the entry that “inspired” something a bit different.
