Bid No: 2014-016 Bid Date: April 8, 2014 Date Issued: March 18, 2014 ADDENDUM 2 PUBLIC WORKS OPERATIONS CENTER OFF-SEASON STORAGE BUILDING Please make the following modifications to the proposal: Item No. 1 Sprinkler system is not required. Item No. 2 The City will provide the Contractor with direction to the specific location of the building and provide the floor elevation at the overhead door entrances. The floor will be roughly six inches above the highest elevation of the building site. Item No. 3 The D-9 bulldozer, when stored in the building, will drive straight in and back out. No turning will be required in the building. The Contractor shall take measures to protect the concrete foundation at the entrances. Item No. 4 The Contractor will be responsible for all electrical equipment, panels, conduit, wires, and testing work required for the installation as requested. In addition, the Contractor shall wire and connect all equipment as required, furnish and install all required systems and equipment grounds in accordance with the requirements, of the National Electrical Code and secure and pay for all permits and certificates as required by Local, State and Federal laws. All work shall be in accordance with the latest issue of the National Electrical Code. Local permit fees shall be waived. All work shall be in accordance with the National Electrical Code requirements as amended to date, with the local electric utility company’s rules, the Fire Underwriters’ requirements and all local, State and Federal laws and regulations. All equipment and wiring shall be Underwriters’ listed. All electrical work must be completed by a State of Maine Registered Master Electrician. PE signed and stamped design drawings are not required for the electrical systems. Item No. 5 The Contractor shall furnish and install an erosion control system as shown on the attached plan. ---PAGE BREAK--- RIVER RD.
