May 9, 2012 Russell Street Resurfacing Bid No. 2012-006 Bid Date: May 15, 2012 ADDENDUM NO 1 Please acknowledge the following documents as a part of the Specifications: 1. Special Provision Section 105 Paragraph #4 states we will pave next day after milling is complete or suspended. But in the Utilities section, they all need ten days to adjust their utilities. I can only assume that there will be no LD’s if utilities need time to adjust. -Paragraph #4 shall be revised to read as follows: Upon completion or any suspension of milling the Contractor shall begin paving operations no later than the following workday. For each working day that the contractor does not pave or mill the contractor will be charged Supplemental Liquidated Damages at the rate stated in the Department’s Standard Specifications section 107.7.2. (Excluding days lost to inclement weather or required for utility relocation). The Contractor shall plan and conduct their work accordingly.
