Asst. Lewiston 513-3003 784-5647 [EMAIL REDACTED] Justin Early is the Project Engineer. Scope of Work: The MDOT will be doing a re-surfacing of Veteran’s Bridge, and will do the storm drain at that time, so that portion of this project is being removed from the specs. The project will now be just the Pond Road Culvert Replacement. Projected budget is $40-45K. The replacement culvert is a steel, multi-plate arch with an 8’ span, 4’ x 2” rise and an open bottom sitting on concrete fittings. Please carefully review the technical specifications for this structure in the specs. A qualified representative for the supplier of this item should be on site – see Division 10. Traffic control: the road needs to be shut down when the culvert is being replaced. People will need to use Old Greene Road. The City plans to re-pave pond road, so the contractor is only responsible for binder at this point. There is a possibility that the City will do the binder, depending on timing. Item #13: change LF to Hours for Front End Loader. Justin will include a new bid tab with an addendum about the change in project scope. Contact Justin Early, Project Engineer, with any questions.
