July 18, 2014 Leavitt Avenue Water and Sewer Separation Bid No.: 2014-034 Bid Date: 7/29/14 ADDENDUM NO 2 Please make the following changes to the Specifications: Questions from Contractors: 1. Please clarify what is included in Item 18 – Alter Existing Manhole/Catchbasin. - Alter Existing Manhole/Catchbasin includes: Altering the structure to receive new pipes Plugging existing pipes to be abandoned Adjusting frame and cover to grade Modifying an existing invert if necessary Please note that some of the items listed above may not be required at each structure. 2. Please clarify what is included in Item 21 – Reconstruct Existing Driveway Aprons. - Reconstructing driveways shall consist of all work and materials necessary to complete the reconstruction of the driveway according the detail, except paving, which shall be paid for as hand place asphalt. 3. Are contractors required to pay City permit fees associated with General #15? - The contractor is required to complete the paper work for the City permits.
