“A Place for All” CITY OF LARAMIE PARKS, TREE & RECREATION ADVISORY BOARD AGENDA MEETING DATE: November 13, 2013 TIME: 7:00 PM LOCATION: Recreation Center large conference room – 920 Boulder Drive Consent Agenda: 1. To approve the minutes from the October 9, 2013 regular meeting of the Parks, Tree and Recreation Advisory Board. (Owen, pages 1-3) 2. To approve the Agreement between the City of Laramie and the American Red Cross to designate the Laramie Community Recreation Center as an emergency shelter. (Guerin, pages 4-8) Motion seconded that the consent agenda be approved and that each specific action on the consent agenda be approved as indicated within the staff reports. (Items listed on the consent agenda are considered to be routine and will be enacted by one motion in the form listed above. There will be no separate discussion of these items unless a Board Member or citizen so requests, in which case the item will be removed from the consent agenda and will be considered on the regular agenda.) Regular Agenda: 1. Consideration of the request from the Laramie Project Graduation Committee for a fee reduction to utilize the Laramie Ice & Event Center for the 2014 Project Graduation Celebration. (Guerin, pages 9-11) 2. Consideration of the request from “The Shock” youth basketball program for a fee reduction for the use of the Recreation Center gymnasium for basketball practices and games. (Guerin, pages 12-14) 3. Consideration of marketing and promotion items for the Laramie Community Recreation Center and the Ice & Events Center. (Guerin, pages 15-16) 4. Consideration of the Memorandum of Understanding between the City of Laramie and the Wyoming Health Fairs, Inc. for use of the Recreation Center multipurpose rooms. (Guerin, pages 17-21) 5.
