“Improving Our Quality of Life” CITY OF LARAMIE PARKS, TREE & RECREATION ADVISORY BOARD AGENDA MEETING DATE: September 13, 2012 TIME: 7:00 PM LOCATION: Recreation Center large conference room – 920 Boulder Drive Consent Agenda: 1. To approve the minutes from the August 8, 2012 regular meeting of the Parks, Tree and Recreation Advisory Board. (Owen, pages 1-4) 2. To acknowledge receipt of a report from the Facilities Management Team on the outcomes and activities of the annual summer maintenance closure at the Recreation Center. (Stevenson, pages 5-8) 3. To accept the donation of a bench and memorial plaque in honor of Rich Koschnitzki to be placed along the Laramie Greenbelt Park. (Zook, pages 9-10) 4. To approve the proposed Eagle Scout Project by Kevin Baldwin to restore LaPrele Park Shelter (Zook,pages 11-13) 5. To accept the donation of two trees and a memorial plaque in memory of Jack Routson. (Zook, pages 14-16) 6. To approve the request from Eric Wright, representing cyclocross enthusiasts in Laramie, to hold cyclocross training in LaPrele Park and the undeveloped area of the Turner Tract. (Zook, pages 17-21) 7. To acknowledge receipt of the preliminary two month status report on the new off leash do area located at Depot Park. (Zook, pages 22-23) Motion seconded that the consent agenda be approved and that each specific action on the consent agenda be approved as indicated within the staff reports. (Items listed on the consent agenda are considered to be routine and will be enacted by one motion in the form listed above. There will be no separate discussion of these items unless a Board Member or citizen so requests, in which case the item will be removed from the consent agenda and will be considered on the regular agenda.)
