MINUTES CITY OF LARAMIE, WYOMING CITY COUNCIL SPECIAL MEETING July 23, 2013 Special Meeting was called to order by Mayor Paulekas at 6:03 p.m. The City Clerk‘s Assistant read the following notice: NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT THE FOLLOWING MEETING OF THE LARAMIE CITY COUNCIL WILL BE HELD TUESDAY, JULY 23, 2013, 6:00 P.M., IN COUNCIL CHAMBER OF CITY HALL, 406 IVINSON STREET, FOR THE FOLLOWING PURPOSES: 1. SPECIAL MEETING; CONSIDERATION OF 3RD & HANCOCK EMERGENCY LINE REPLACEMENT BID. Roll call showed Present: Henry, Pearce, Kempert, Hanson, Shumway, and Paulekas. Absent: McKinley, Vitale, and Weaver. Weaver entered at 6:05 p.m. MOTION BY HANSON, seconded by Shumway, that Council award the 3rd and Hancock Emergency Sewer Line Repair to Hamaker Excavation, Laramie, WY, in the amount of $94,742.00, plus a contingency of $14,211.30 for a total amount not to exceed $108,953.30, to approve the contract therefore, and authorize the Mayor and City Clerk to sign. Roll call showed Aye: Henry, Pearce, Kempert, Hanson, Shumway, Weaver, and Paulekas. Ayes: None. Absent: McKinley, and Vitale. MOTION BY HANSON, seconded by Shumway, that Council adjourn.
