Traffic Commission January 10, 2013 Page 1 of 2 MINUTES Traffic Commission Thursday, January 10, 2013 at 7:00 AM Historic Carnegie Building 1st Floor Conference Room 405 Grand Avenue, Laramie, WY 82070 The Traffic Conference meetings are open to the public. Requests from person with disabilities must be made to the Community Development Department 48 hours in advance of the meeting. 1. CALL TO ORDER/ ROLL CALL Meeting convened at 7:07 AM Members present: Philip LeBeau, Michael Moeller, Nancy Sindelar (Chair), John Spiegelberg Members absent: Megan Hayes, Gary Lopez, Rhonda Young There was a quorum present at all times. Council Liaison: Jayne Pearce (present) Staff Present: Jeff Bury, Randy Griesbach (WYDOT), Eric Jaap, Shane Johnson, Larry Ketcham and Kathleen Wickersham 2. APPROVAL OF AGENDA AND MINUTES 2-A. AGENDA: Thursday, January 10, 2013 Traffic Commission Meeting Agenda Agenda was approved as written. 2-B. MINUTES: Thursday, December 13, 2012 Traffic Commission Meeting Minutes MOTION BY MOELLER, second by Spiegelberg, to approve the Minutes from the December 13, 2012 meeting. Aye: 4 Nay: 0 Motion carried. 3. TRAFFIC COMMISSION AND STAFF REPORTS AND COMMENTS Ketcham welcomed Philip LeBeau a new Commissioner, and Jayne Pearce the new City Council Liaison. 4. CURRENT BUSINESS: NEW BUSINESS: 4-A. Request for a Specifically Reserved Handicap Parking Space – 271 N. Cedar Street The applicant, Ms. McCully requested that a specifically reserved handicap parking space be installed in front of her residence at 271 North Cedar Street. MOTION BY MOELLER, second by Spiegelberg, to approve placement of a specifically reserved handicap parking space for the license plate number WY 5-16066 and WY 1-276 at the location of 271 North Cedar Street.
