“Improving Our Quality of Life” CITY OF LARAMIE PARKS, TREE & RECREATION ADVISORY BOARD AGENDA MEETING DATE: October 10, 2012 TIME: 7:00 PM LOCATION: Ice & Event Center conference room – 3510 E. Garfield Street Consent Agenda: 1. To approve the minutes from the September 13, 2012 regular meeting of the Parks, Tree and Recreation Advisory Board. (Owen, pages 1-4) 2. To acknowledge receipt of the 2012 Community Service Day report. (Harrison, pages 5-7) 3. To acknowledge receipt of the annual report from the Laramie Rifle Range Corporation. (Harrison, pages 8-26) 4. To acknowledge receipt of the report form Mike Snigg, Laramie Regional Fisheries Supervisor from the Wyoming Game and Fish Department on the Spring Creek fish kill. (Harrison, pages 27-35) 5. To acknowledge receipt of the acceptance of the Parks and Recreation Department, Aquatics Section into the USA Swimming Foundation “Make A Splash” water safety initiative. (Peters, pages 36-37) Motion seconded that the consent agenda be approved and that each specific action on the consent agenda be approved as indicated within the staff reports. (Items listed on the consent agenda are considered to be routine and will be enacted by one motion in the form listed above. There will be no separate discussion of these items unless a Board Member or citizen so requests, in which case the item will be removed from the consent agenda and will be considered on the regular agenda.) Regular Agenda: 1. Consideration of the proclamation supporting the “Lights on Afterschool Day” for the SACC program on Thursday October 18th from 5:30pm to 7:00pm. (Peters, page 38) 2. Consideration of the Memorandum of Understanding between the City of Laramie and the Laramie Plains Civic Center for the use of the city’s ceramics and pottery equipment. (Peters, page 39) 3.
