Celebrate the Holidays Downtown! Throughout the month of December, downtown merchants will be contributing to the holiday spirit by hosting workshops, demos and promotional sales while the streets are filled with carolers, unique decorations and complementary wagon rides. Retailers along Ivinson Ave. will be staying open late on Wednesday evenings so customers can shop after hours then take their packages to the Laramie Main Street Alliance office at 207 Grand Ave. for complementary gift-wrapping. The gift-wrapping station will be open Wednesdays from 5 to 7 p.m. and Saturdays from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. in December. Mistletoe Mosey, an annual promotion developed by the Downtown Laramie Business Association (DLBA), includes a business-to-business scavenger hunt, giving shoppers a chance to discover new retailers and win $1,000 worth of downtown gift certificates. Mistletoe Mosey participants can purchase a button at any participating business then spend the month looking for their number downtown. Those who match their number automatically win a $50 gift from the business displaying their number and are entered into the final drawing for $1,000.
