ANNOUNCEMENT Laramie Fire Department Entry Level Testing The Laramie Fire Department will establish an eligibility list for entry level Firefighter for positions that may arise in the future. Applications are available and should be submitted through the City of Laramie website. Applications must be received by Wednesday, May 22nd, 2019 in order to participate in the testing process. Testing procedures are described below: Saturday, April 27, 2019 – CPAT Orientation 0900 at LFD Training Center, 2451 County Shop Road, Laramie (Orientation only) Saturday, May 25, 2019 – CPAT Test #1 0800 at LFD Training Center, 2451 County Shop Road, Laramie (Test opportunity) Saturday, June 1, 2019 – CPAT Test #2 0800 at LFD Training Center, 2451 County Shop Road, Laramie (Test opportunity) Sunday/Monday June 16-17, 2019 – Written Exam (2 offerings available – 1 chance only) - Sunday, June 16 – Written Exam Offering #1 – 1800 – Albany County Fairground Activities Building, 3411 S 3rd St, Laramie - Monday, June 17 – Written Exam Offering #2 – 0900 – Albany County Fairground Activities Building, 3411 S 3rd St, Laramie June 22-23, 2019 – CPAT Testing - Saturday, June 22, 2019 - CPAT Testing - 0800 at LFD Training Center, 2451 County Shop Road, Laramie - Sunday, June 23, 2019 – CPAT Testing (if necessary) - 0800 at LFD Training Center, 2451 County Shop Road, Laramie June 23-25, 2019 – Interviews by scheduled time at LFD Fire Station 2374 W Jefferson St, Laramie Sunday June 23, 2019 – Interviews 1300-1700 Monday, June 24, 2019 – Interviews 0800-1700 Tuesday, June 25, 2019 – Interviews 0800-1700 (If necessary) NOTE: Any eligible candidate selected for an available position will be required to pass a background investigation and a medical examination, including a drug screen.
