Traffic Commission December 13, 2012 Page 1 of 2 MINUTES Traffic Commission Thursday, December 13, 2012 at 7:00 AM Historic Carnegie Building 1st Floor Conference Room 405 Grand Avenue, Laramie, WY 82070 The Traffic Conference meetings are open to the public. Requests from person with disabilities must be made to the Community Development Department 48 hours in advance of the meeting. 1. CALL TO ORDER/ ROLL CALL Meeting convened at 7:00 AM Members present: Gary Lopez, Michael Moeller, Nancy Sindelar (Chair), John Spiegelberg, Rhonda Young Members absent: None There was a quorum present at all times. Council Liaison: Dave Paulekas (absent) Staff Present: Harold Colby, Randy Griesbach (WYDOT), Eric Jaap, Shane Johnson, Larry Ketcham and Kathleen Wickersham 2. APPROVAL OF AGENDA AND MINUTES 2-A. AGENDA: Thursday, December 13, 2012 Traffic Commission Meeting Agenda MOTION BY MOELLER, second by Young, to approve the Agenda as written. Aye: 5 Nay: 0 Motion carried. 2-B. MINUTES: Thursday, November 8, 2012 Traffic Commission Meeting Minutes MOTION BY LOPEZ, second by Spiegelberg, to approve the Minutes from the November 8, 2012 meeting. Aye: 5 Nay: 0 Motion carried. 3. CURRENT BUSINESS: NEW BUSINESS: 4-A. Request for a Specifically Reserved Handicap Parking Space – 620 Fremont Street The applicant, Ms. Charmaine Delmatier requested that a specifically reserved handicap parking space be installed in front of her residence at 620 Fremont Street. MOTION BY MOELLER, second by Lopez, to approve placement of a specifically reserved handicap parking space for the license plate number WY 4-6336 at the location of 620 Fremont Street. OLD BUSINESS: Updates Shane Johnson was introduced as the new Street Division Manager. New Traffic Commission members have been appointed by the City Council. Griesbach stated that WYDOT will install a right turn only sign at 30th and Grand Avenue for the north bound traffic. 4. NEXT MEETING DATE – January 10, 2013 5.
