“A Place for All” CITY OF LARAMIE PARKS, TREE & RECREATION ADVISORY BOARD AGENDA MEETING DATE: April 10, 2013 TIME: 6:30 pm LOCATION: Recreation Center large conference room – 920 Boulder Drive Consent Agenda: 1. To approve the minutes from the March 13, 2013 regular meeting of the Parks, Tree and Recreation Advisory Board. (Owen, pages 2-6) 2. To approve the agreement between the City of Laramie and the Laramie Umpires Association Inc. for the 2013 season and to forward on to Council for their consideration. (Guerin, pages 7-17) 3. To accept the donation of a memorial bench in memory of Everett and Ruth McKay. (Wardlaw, pages 18-21) 4. To approve the Memorandum of Understanding between the City of Laramie and Laramie Youth Baseball concerning the installation of sponsorship banners for the 2013 season. (Guerin, pages 22-28) 5. To approve the Recreation Center policy for Kayak usage in the 8 Lane competitive pool. (Guerin, pages 29-31) 6. To approve the Facilities Use Agreement between the City of Laramie and the Open School and forward on to Council for their consideration. (Guerin, pages 32-40) 7. To approve the Facilities Use Agreement between the City of Laramie and the Montessori Charter School and to forward on to Council for their consideration. (Guerin, pages 41-49) Motion seconded that the consent agenda be approved and that each specific action on the consent agenda be approved as indicated within the staff reports. (Items listed on the consent agenda are considered to be routine and will be enacted by one motion in the form listed above. There will be no separate discussion of these items unless a Board Member or citizen so requests, in which case the item will be removed from the consent agenda and will be considered on the regular agenda.) Regular Agenda: 1. Review of the Parks, Tree and Recreation Advisory Board goals for 2012 and amending goals for 2013. (Harrison, pages 50-52) 2. To approve a modification of the hours of operation for summer Recreation Center aquatics operations. (Guerin, pages 53-54) 3. To approve an amendment to the Master Fee Schedule adjusting the fees for the Co-ed Softball Program and to forward on to Council for their consideration. (Guerin, pages 55-56) 4. To approve the Laramie Ice & Event Center Dasher Board Ad Sales Policy.
