LARAMIE CITY COUNCIL PUBLIC HEARING Application for Limited Retail Liquor License, Laramie Country Club September 18, 2012 Public Hearing was called to order by Mayor Scott Mullner at 6:33 p.m. City Council present: Dave Paulekas, Roger McKinley, Lee Kempert, Joe Vitale, Eric Molvar, Klaus Hanson, Joe Shumway, Karl McCraken, and Scott Mullner. Absent: None. The City Clerk read the notice: NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT ON THE 14TH DAY OF AUGUST, 2012, AN APPLICATION FOR LIMITED RETAIL GOLF CLUB LIQUOR LICENSE WAS FILED IN THE OFFICE OF THE CITY CLERK OF LARAMIE, WYOMING, BY BCR, INC. DBA LARAMIE COUNTRY CLUB, 489 HWY 230, LARAMIE, WYOMING, THE LOCATION BEING A 30 FT. X 50 FT. Mayor Mullner asked if there were any public comments. Harlan Wells, Summit Housing Group, was a bidder, whose bid arrived 12 minutes late for the bid, asked that his bid be considered. Bill Edwards spoke, Manager of County Club LLC, developer of Grand View Heights Division, which is adjacent to this property, and the only eligible bidder on this project by Public Notice. They plan to build a quality Senior Housing Project at this site. Vicky Henry spoke in favor of opening the late bid.
