RESOLUTION 2013-02 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAFAYETTE, COLORADO, DESIGNATING THE PUBLIC PLACES FOR POSTING NOTICE OF CITY COUNCIL, CITY BOARDS AND COMMITTEE MEETINGS WHEREAS, C.R.S. Section 24-6-402(2)(c) states that “Any meeting at which the adoption of any proposed policy, position, resolution, rule, regulation, or formal action occurs or at which a majority or quorum of the body is in attendance, or is expected to be in attendance shall be held only after full and timely notice to the public”; and WHEREAS, C.R.S. Section 24-6-402(2)(c) also requires that “The public place or places for posting such notice shall be designated annually at the local public body’s first regular meeting of each calendar year”; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE LAFAYETTE CITY COUNCIL: 1. That the City of Lafayette City Council hereby designates the following locations as the designated public places within the boundaries of the City of Lafayette, where notice of Council, board and committee meetings shall be posted during the calendar year of 2013: The entrance to the City Council Chambers, Lafayette City Hall, 1290 S. Public Road and the City’s official website, www.cityoflafayette.com, unless technical difficulties prevent such posting. 2. In addition, City Council meeting notices shall be posted in the vestibule at the Recreation Center, 111 W. Baseline Road; and in the Reference Section at the Lafayette Public Library, 775 W.
