Updated Feb 2024 New Commercial Permit Submittal Requirements and Checklist Applicant Name Email Phone Project Address (Number and Street) Project Design Information Codes: 2021; International Building Code, International Mechanical Code, International Fuel Gas Code, International Plumbing Code, International Energy Conservation Code, International Fire Codes, 2023 National Electrical Code and 2017 ANSI A117.1 Standard for Accessible and Usable Buildings and Facilities Snow Load: 30 lbs./sq. ft. roof and ground Windspeed: 105 mph @ 3 second gust, single-family Risk Category 1 Vult – 120 mph Risk Category 2 Vult – 135 mph Risk Category 3, 4 Vult – 145 mph Frost Depth: 36-inch frost depth Required Items for Electronic Submittal - incomplete submittals will not be accepted All items below maybe submitted by email to [EMAIL REDACTED] or by use of a secure file storage ie: drop box ☐ Complete Building Permit Application ☐ Complete plan set stamped by an architect and engineer that includes the following: ☐ Architectural floor plans ☐ Structural Plans and Calculations Stamped by a Colorado licensed Professional Engineer ☐ Plumbing, Mechanical, Electrical plans including all requirements for energy compliance (ComCheck and or documents identified in IECC C103.2, Plumbing plans shall include IPC fixture counts with flow data ☐ Manuals and Specs ☐ Construction Sections and Details including full interior and Exterior Elevations ☐ Site Plan with setbacks, easements, property lines, sidewalks, site lighting and an identified accessible route with grading ☐ Soils Report stamped by a Colorado licensed Professional Engineer including foundation recommendations Planning Department ☐ Site plan with setbacks, easements, property lines, sidewalks, and site lighting (11”x17” maximum size) ☐ Parking plan ☐ Landscape plan with irrigation system and water budget Public Works Department ☐ Completed Utility Service Application, including all applicable service information (IPC fixture unit counts with flow data, etc.) ☐ Grading and drainage plan with Engineers stamp (11”x17” maximum size) ☐ Site plan showing all utilities and floodways ☐ Right-of-way permits (if applicable) ☐ Grading and Erosion Control Permit Application and all corresponding requirements (if disturbing one-acre or more) ☐ Copy of State Stormwater Permit Cover page if over one-acre Fire Department (additional questions email [EMAIL REDACTED]) ☐ Completed Fire Department Code Plan Review Application for each system ☐ Fire hydrant compliance documentation ☐ Fire Department access compliance documentation ☐ Fire Sprinkler, Fire Alarm systems and the Facility Emergency plans can be deferred.
