Klickitat County Public Health Clinical Division Nursing Manager Position Profile The Klickitat County Public Health Department is seeking applications for a Public Health Clinical Division Nursing Manager position. The responsibilities of this position include the administration, planning, organizing, directing and evaluating the Public Health Nursing services. Works with the Public Health Director in the development and management of departmental programs and procedures to accomplish local, state and federal public health goals and policies. Will be responsible for providing comprehensive nursing care or consultation in program areas including immunizations, STDs, family planning, prenatal, WIC program, maternal child health, communicable disease and adult health. The position will have an office in the Public Health’s White Salmon and Goldendale offices. We are seeking a candidate who is enthusiastic about providing public health nursing services to community members of Klickitat County. An ideal candidate is a team member for providing positive internal and external services, developing quality programs and procedures and provides direct nursing services to our diverse population. The department is supportive of continuing education and enhancing skills for our clients. Klickitat County is located along the Columbia River Gorge in south central Washington. Minimum Qualifications: Graduation from an accredited school or nursing and preferably successful completion of course work or training in a clinical nursing specialty. Previous public health related work experience is desirable. Compensation: This is a full time exempt position. A candidate meeting the minimum qualifications and possesses a Nurse Practitioner license is posted with a salary range of $33.25 hourly or $69,160 annually to $37.43 hourly or $77,854 annually, depending on qualifications. A candidate meeting the minimum qualifications is posted with a salary range of $29.60 hourly or $61,568 annually to $33.32 hourly or $69,036 annually, depending on qualifications. Additional 3% increases to this salary could be provided to a candidate depending on the level of related work experience and/or specialty course training. Annual step increases of 3% are provided to a successful employee, with the potential of cost of living adjustments. Quality levels of health and dental insurance for employee coverage is fully paid by the County, and generous county contribution levels towards health insurance for family members. The position qualifies for a retirement plan through the State of Washington Department of Retirement Systems.
