Klickitat County Mitigated Determination of Non-Significance Notice is hereby given that Klickitat County issued a Mitigated Determination of Non-significance (MDNS) on May 4, 2017, under SEPA Rules (Chapter 197-11 WAC) and the Klickitat County Environmental Ordinance Number 121084, as amended, for the following proposal: SEPA 2017-0008: Proponent: PUD No. 1 of Klickitat County. The proposal is to construct a domestic water supply well and appurtenances for the community of Lyle. The well will be pitless construction and the treatment will take place at the existing Upper Reservoir site. An enclosure is not needed at the well site. The appurtenances included electrical supply and controls equipment and a 6-inch underground water transmission line from the well to the Upper Reservoir. The proposed well site is approximately 1.09 acres. The pipeline and electrical conduit will be placed in the existing Gene Drive roadway. The project is located off Gene Drive, within a portion of the Southeast Quarter of Section 34, Township 3N, Range 12E, WM, Klickitat County (Lyle vicinity, parcel numbers 03-12-3400-0007/00, 03-12-3455-0004/00 and 03-12-3444-0001/00). After review of the completed environmental checklist and other information on file the Klickitat County Responsible Official has determined that this proposal will not have probable significant adverse impacts on the environment. Copies of the MDNS is available at the Klickitat County Planning Department during normal business hours. Comments or appeals on the above environmental review will be accepted until 5:00 pm on May 26, 2017. Appeals must be filed with the Klickitat County Auditor’s office. Appeals shall not be deemed complete without payment of the appeal fees applicable to class A projects, payable to Klickitat County Planning Department.
