INFORMATION SHEET FOR ROAD DEPARTMENT TEMPORARY SUMMER LABOR POSITION JOB DESCRIPTION FOR ENGINEER’S ASSISTANT Duties may include: daily QC/QA inspections of construction projects, state construction surveying; measure and calculate quantities, field testing of materials, write and submit status reports and represent the County in dealings with Contractors. Position may require ability to perform some heavy lifting and some manual labor in all weather conditions. Duties may require use of hand and power tools and light trucks.
