Klickitat County Mitigated Determination of Non-Significance Notice is hereby given that Klickitat County issued a Mitigated Determination of Non-significance (MDNS) on July 27, 2017, under SEPA Rules (Chapter 197-11 WAC) and the Klickitat County Environmental Ordinance Number 121084 for the following proposals: SEPA 2017-16; Applicant Herb and Joann Hardin. A proposal to divide approximately 3.55 acres into 4 lots. The property is located within a portion of Section 23, T4N, R10E, W.M., Klickitat County, WA (White Salmon vicinity) on tax parcel 03102398000400. SEPA 2017-17: Applicant: Keith B. Arndt. The proposal is to rezone an approximately 1.68 acre parcel (Parcel # 02131608240200) from Rural Center (RC) and Rural Residential 2 (RR2) to Rural Center (RC) to conform to the surrounding Rural Center zoning within the identified Murdock Subarea. If the rezone is approved the applicant intends to short plat the parcel into two parcels ac. & ac.) for the sole purpose of establishing two single-family residences (SFR). The proposed project is located within a portion of Section 16, T2N, R13E, W.M., Klickitat County, WA (Murdock Vicinity). SEPA 2017-18: Applicant: George and Elaine Killian. Authorized Agent: Inter-Fluve Inc. The applicants are proposing a bank stabilization project to protect an existing residential structure in a matter that improves bank and aquatic habitat conditions in the White Salmon River along the subject property. The proposed project is located within a portion of Section 30, T6N, R11E, W.M., Klickitat County, WA on parcel 06113000001600 (Trout Lake Vicinity). After review of the completed environmental checklists and other information on file the Klickitat County Responsible Official has determined that these proposal will not have probable significant adverse impacts on the environment. Copies of the are available at the Klickitat County Planning Department during normal business hours. Comments or appeals on the above environmental reviews will be accepted until 5:00 pm August 18, 2017. Appeals must be filed with the Klickitat County Auditor’s office. Appeals shall not be deemed complete without payment of the appeal fees applicable to class A projects, payable to Klickitat County Planning Department.
