Klickitat County Determination of Mitigated Non-Significance Notice is hereby given that Klickitat County issued a Mitigated Determination of Non-significance (MDNS) on February 23, 2018, under SEPA Rules (Chapter 197-11 WAC) and the Klickitat County Environmental Ordinance Number 121084, as amended, for the following proposals: SEPA2017-37. Applicant: SK Orchards. The proposal is for repair and maintenance to the existing SK Bridge due to the bridge footings were eroded by the high water of a previous storm event. The bridge is on tax parcel 04111900000700, located within portion of Section 19, Township 4 North, Range 14E, W.M., Klickitat County, WA, Husum vicinity. SEP2018-01. Applicant: Robert Nuckoles. A short plat application requesting to divide approximately 2.12-acres into 2 lots. The property is located within a portion of Section 31, T4N, R11E, W.M., Klickitat County, WA (Husum vicinity) on tax parcel 04113105050100. SEP2018-02. Applicant: Michael S. Wellman. A short plat application requesting to divide approximately 44 acres into two 22-acre parcels. Both parcels have existing residences in use with driveway access, domestic water, septic tanks, and electric power. Road approaches and driveways will remain the same, and there are no plans to change any physical features on site. The property is located within a portion of Section 31, T6N, R11E, W.M., Klickitat County, WA (Trout Lake vicinity) on tax parcel 06113153000200. After review of the completed environmental checklists and other information on file the Klickitat County Responsible Official has determined that these proposals will not have probable significant adverse impacts on the environment. Copies of the MDNS are available at the Klickitat County Planning Department during normal business hours. Comments or appeals on the above environmental review will be accepted until 5:00 pm March 16, 2018. Appeals must be filed with the Klickitat County Auditor’s office. Appeals shall not be deemed complete without payment of the appeal fees applicable to class A projects, payable to Klickitat County Planning Department.
