Klickitat County Determination of Mitigated Non-Significance Notice is hereby given that Klickitat County issued a Mitigated Determination of Non-significance (MDNS) on September 23, 2016, under SEPA Rules (Chapter 197-11 WAC) and the Klickitat County Environmental Ordinance Number 121084 for the following proposal: SEPA 2016-25: Applicant: Klickitat County Port District The proposal is to rezone an approximately 1.54 acre area within lots 22 & 24 of Binding Site Plan BSP2014-01 located on Parcels #02132600000200 (381.68 acres) and #02133500000300 (46.66 acres) from Industrial Park (IP) to General Industrial (GI) to conform to the surrounding General Industrial (GI) zoning. It is anticipated the subject area (1.54 acres) will receive an approximate 55,000 cubic yards of clean fill material matching grade with the surrounding property prior to future development activities. The proposed project is located within a portion of Sections 26 and 35, T2N, R13E, W.M., Klickitat County, WA (Port of Klickitat Dallesport Industrial Park). After review of the completed environmental checklist and other information on file the Klickitat County Responsible Official has determined that these proposals will not have probable significant adverse impacts on the environment. Copies of the MDNS are available at the Klickitat County Planning Department during normal business hours. Comments or appeals on the above environmental review will be accepted until 5:00 pm October 14, 2016. Appeals must be filed with the Klickitat County Auditor’s office. Appeals shall not be deemed complete without payment of the appeal fees applicable to class A projects, payable to Klickitat County Planning Department.
