Klickitat County Determination of Mitigated Non-Significance Notice is hereby given that Klickitat County issued a Mitigated Determination of Non- significance (MDNS) on December 13, 2017 under SEPA Rules (Chapter 197-11 WAC) and the Klickitat County Environmental Ordinance Number 121084 for the following proposals: SEPA 2017-34: Applicant: Sacred Earth Foundation. Proposal for a summer camp and other educational programming for children and adults. The project will include a commercial kitchen and dining room, toilet and shower facilities, bunk room and tent sleeping quarters for campers, office space for administrative activities, covered space for camp activities, on site housing for staff, barn for hay storage, shop for ranch maintenance, various storage sheds and parking areas for guests. The project is located within Section 19, T5N, R18E, W.M., Klickitat County, WA, east of Goldendale on tax parcel 05181900001200. SEPA 2017-38. Applicant: 870 S.W. Stratton, LLC, Patrick A. Tahara & Joanne R. Angell. Proposal to divide approximately 0.92-acres into 2 lots. The property is located within a portion of Section 23, T03N, R10E, W.M., Klickitat County, WA (White Salmon vicinity) on tax parcel 03-10-2313-0005-00. After review of the completed environmental checklist and other information on file the Klickitat County Responsible Official has determined that these proposals will not have probable significant adverse impacts on the environment. Copies of the MDNS are available at the Klickitat County Planning Department during normal business hours. Comments or appeals on the above environmental review will be accepted until 5:00 pm January 5, 2017. Appeals must be filed with the Klickitat County Auditor’s office. Appeals shall not be deemed complete without payment of the appeal fees applicable to class A projects, payable to Klickitat County Planning Department.
