Klickitat County Determination of Mitigated Non-Significance Notice is hereby given that Klickitat County issued a Mitigated Determination of Non-significance (MDNS) on June 28, 2018, under SEPA Rules (Chapter 197-11 WAC) and the Klickitat County Environmental Ordinance Number 121084, as amended, for the following proposals: SEP2018-10: Applicants: William Maley and Klickitat County Planning Department. An Intent to Rezone Request to rezone approximately 8.60 acres from Suburban Residential (SR) to Single Family Residential (R1). Upon approval of the intent to rezone, the applicant, William Maley, proposes to create a 26 lot residential subdivision. Lot sizes will range from 10,400 square feet to 12,000 square feet; A proposal by the Klickitat County Planning Department to expand the Maley Intent to Rezone Request to the entire Block C of the Plat of Dallesport, and to correct a mapping error by eliminating split zoning on parcels with existing non-residential land uses. The proposed project is located within a portion of Sections 33 and 34, T2N, R13E, W.M., Klickitat County, WA (Blocks C and D, Plat of Dallesport, Dallesport vicinity). SEP2018-11: Applicants: Dean & Cindy Kobetich. A short plat proposal to subdivide approximately 12.70 acres into two lots, each containing 6.11 acres. The proposed short plat is located within Section 16, T5N, R14E, W.M., Klickitat County, WA (Goldendale vicinity) on tax parcel 05-14-1600-0015/00. A Boundary Line Adjustment between parcel 05-14-1600-0015/00 and parcel 05-14-1600-0009/00 is also proposed as part of this plat. The BLA amends the common property line to be where the fence line is. Parcel 05-14-1600-0009/00 will receive approximately .14 acres from parcel 05-14-1600-0015/00. After review of the completed environmental checklist and other information on file the Klickitat County Responsible Official has determined that these proposals will not have probable significant adverse impacts on the environment. Copies of the MDNS are available at the Klickitat County Planning Department during normal business hours. Comments or appeals on the above environmental review will be accepted until 5:00 pm July 20, 2018. Appeals must be filed with the Klickitat County Auditor’s office. Appeals shall not be deemed complete without payment of the appeal fees applicable to the projects’ classification, payable to Klickitat County Planning Department.
