Kennewick Parks and Recreation Youth Sports League Policy in regards to Playing time Kennewick Parks and Recreation youth sports leagues are about having fun, learning new skills, meeting new friends, learning sportsmanship and being part of a team. In order to accomplish this, participants need to attend practices in order to enjoy the benefits of youth sports. It is important to not only learn skills but to learn how to play together as a unit and be part of a team. In order for any player to get equal playing time in the Kennewick Parks and Recreation Youth Sports leagues, he or she must attend a minimum of one practice a week. If a player does not attend a minimum of one practice a week, he or she may not play in the game for that week. Another reason a player may get limited playing time include: • A player is being disciplined • A player is injured • A player is not feeling well • Consistently missing practices Created 1/29/14
