Date Received Stamp Development Services - 1 - 10/16 Boundary Line Adjustment (BLA) Checklist  1. Lots must be in the same zoning district.  2. Entirely completed application (note: incomplete applications will not be accepted).  3. Signatures of property owners for PARCEL A and PARCELB or authorized agents having authority to sign.  4. Application fee (See Fee Schedule).  5. A Site Plan drawn to standard scale – 1 copy on an 8 ½” x 11” or 8 ½” x 14” for recording purposes; this will be attached to the appropriate deed as an exhibit. Larger copies will be accepted for office review. Site Plan drawing must have:  1-inch border for recording purposes.  Footprint of existing buildings in order to comply with setback requirements and dimensions from existing structures to proposed property lines.  Clearly shown “current” property lines and “proposed” property line adjustments.  Map must be to a standard scale 1-inch = 20 feet).  Size and dimensions of property to be transferred  Size and dimensions of Ownership A  Size and dimensions of Ownership B  Existing roads, easements, utilities, City water/sewer lines & water meters  Surface water, such as lakes, ponds, wetlands, etc.  North Arrow Required submittal of a Record Survey will be determined by the applicant and/or surveyor and must comply with all requirements of RCW 58.09 (Surveys- recording) and WAC 332-130-050 (Survey map requirements). If a Record Survey is prepared it will be recorded prior to the appropriate deed and referenced in the deed.  6. Appropriate deeds for land transfer with new legal descriptions. PLEASE NOTE: The legal description must include the legal of the portion of land to be transferred and a legal of each new parcel after the transfer. Deeds must be TYPED – no handwritten deeds will be accepted and are required prior to issue of the approval letter along with the legal approved by the City of Kennewick attached as an exhibit. All items are required to be recorded by the applicant through Benton County.
