Address: Summary of Incident: When employees of the Three Rivers Convention Center arrived at work Saturday morning they discovered an email that stated a bomb was going to detonate at the location at 6:00pm. The email had been sent on Friday at 3:45pm and stated, "There will be a bomb going off tomorrow at 6pm at the Three Rivers Convention Center. This is not a hoax. This is real." Officers were able to determine the email was sent over Wi-Fi at the McDonalds at Gage and Steptoe in Kennewick. Video surveillance was obtained and employees of the convention center were able to identify the suspect as one of their employees, Spencer Evers, 27, of Kennewick. Spencer was working today and arrested. He was booked into the Benton County Jail on a felony charge of Threats to Bomb. The building was searched and no evidence of explosive devices were located.
