Last week Motor Officers Stan Howard, Lee Cooper and Sergeant Ken Lattin attended police training at the North American Motor Officer Association training conference. Over 100 of the best motor officers from Washington, Oregon and Canada participated. In Kennewick our moto is "Committed to Your Safety". That applies not just to the citizens we serve but to the men and women of the Kennewick Police Department. We are committed to ensuring that our motor officers receive the best training available to ensure their safety when they are out on patrol. All three of our officer received awards in all the categories that were evaluated including best overall Kawasaki Police rider.
