Ambulance Billing Information • Effective July 1, 2012 the rates for ambulance transports are as follows. Emergency Calls Non-Emergency Calls Residents $660.00 $660.00 Non-Residents $990.00 $990.00 • For transport dates April 1, 2008 to June 30, 2012 the rates for ambulance transports are as follows. Emergency Calls Non-Emergency Calls Residents $578.06 $578.06 Non-Residents $867.09 $867.09 • For transport dates April 1, 2005 to March 31, 2008, the rates for ambulance transports are as follows. Emergency Calls Non-Emergency Calls Residents $950.00 $700.00 Non-Residents $1,140.00 $840.00 • The mileage fee is $10 per loaded mile. • The resident rate applies to all patients whose primary residence is within the city limits of Kennewick. • Since April 1, 2005 city residents are responsible for any remaining balance of the charge after insurance has paid. • The City of Kennewick bills insurance carriers on behalf of patients. Patients are responsible for providing insurance information to ambulance billing.
