Admission Tax Generates $260k annually in Park Development Fund & $200k annually in Coliseum Events (General Fund) State allows the imposition of an admission tax up to 5% City imposes the 5% admission tax on any admission charge of more than 10¢. The tax is imposed on the regular price of admissions Admission tax from Coliseum events are receipted into the General Fund to help offset the subsidy All other admission taxes are receipted into the Park Development Fund to fund maintenance and development of Parks (per resolution 95-43)
