Address Choose an item. Victim’s Name: John R. Beauchamp age 22 of Kennewick Summary of Incident: Kennewick, Wa. On Saturday evening at 8:42 pm, John Beauchamp was driving his white 1987 VW Jetta east on 36th Ave at a high rate of speed according to witnesses and with his headlights off. Beauchamp failed to stop for the stop sign at Vancouver St and struck Trevor T. Coleman age 32 of Kennewick. Coleman had been Westbound on 36th and was making a left turn onto Vancouver. Coleman was driving a grey 1999 Dodge Ram pickup. Beauchamp was transported to Trios ER where he was pronounced dead. His family has been notified by the Kennewick Police at the hospital. Coleman had no major injuries. The case is still under investigation by the Kennewick Police Traffic Unit. At this time speed and a stop sign violation appear to be contributing factors.
